Correct Answer - Option 1 : 405 seconds

Given:

Two trains running with speed 50 km/h and 58 km/h

Concept:

Speed = Distance/Time

Calculation:

Let us assume length of train are X

⇒ 30 × (50 + 58) × (5/18) = 2X

⇒ X = 450 m

⇒ Time taken by them when they cross each other in same direction = (2 × 450)/{5/18 × (58 - 50)} = 405 seconds

∴ The required result will be 405 seconds.
