Correct Answer - Option 3 : 42(6/7)

Given

20 samosas are sold

Profit earned = s.p of 6 samosas

Concept used

S.p = C.p + profit

Profit % = (profit × 100) / c.p

Calculation

S.p of 20 samosas = c.p of 20 samosas + s.p of 6 samosas

20 s.p = 20 c.p + 6 s.p

⇒ 14 s.p = 20 c.p

⇒ S.p : c.p

⇒ 10 : 7

Profit% =  (3 ×100) / 7 = 42(6/7)%

 ∴ 42(6/7)% Profit is earned by Haldirams by selling 20 samosas
