Correct Answer - Option 3 : 50

Calculation:

Let marks scored by Vivek in Biology is 3n.

Marks scored by Varun in Maths = 4n

Let the maximum score in Maths is M.

Maximum score in Biology, B = 0.5M

Percentage marks scored by Vivek in Biology, P= (3n/0.5M) × 100

⇒ 600n/M

Similarly, Percentage marks scored by Varun in Maths, P= (4n/M) × 100

⇒ 400n/M

X = ((P1 - P2)/P2) × 100

P1 - P2 = (600n/M) - (400n/M)

⇒ 200n/M

X = ((200n/M)/(400n/M)) × 100
