Best answer
Correct Answer - Option 2 : 22%

Formula Used:

Profit% = (SP - CP)/CP × 100

Loss% = (CP - SP)/CP × 100

Calculations:

Cost price of machine = Rs. 49500

Money spent on repair = Rs. 1500

⇒ Total cost price of machine = Rs. (49500 + 1500)

⇒ Total cost price of machine = Rs. 51000

Selling price of machine = Rs. 62250

Profit% = (62250 - 51000)/51000 × 100

⇒ Profit% = 22%

∴ The profit percent of Sangeeta is 22%.

The cost of repair must be added in cost price of machine to get original cost price.
