Correct Answer - Option 3 : 80 km / hr

Given:

The speed of the car is 40 km/h

Concept:

Speed = Distance/Time

Calculation:

⇒ Let be assume the speed of the car is S1 and the Speed of Bus is S2, time taken by car is T1 and time taken by bus T2

⇒ When distance is the same then, S = 1/T

⇒ The ratio of time of car and bus = T1/T2 = 2/1

⇒ The ratio of the speed of car and bus = S1/S2 = 1/2

⇒ The speed of bus = 40 × (2/1) = 80 km/h

∴ The required result will be 80 km/h.
