Given:

The speed of the car is 40 km/h

Concept:

Speed = Distance/Time 

Calculation:

⇒ Let be assume the speed of the car is S₁ and the Speed of Bus is S₂, time taken by car is T₁ and time taken by bus T₂

⇒ When distance is the same then, S = 1/T

⇒ The ratio of time of car and bus = T₁/T₂ = 2/1 

⇒ The ratio of the speed of car and bus = S₁/S₂ = 1/2

⇒ The speed of bus = 40 × (2/1) = 80 km/h

∴ The required result will be 80 km/h.
