Correct Answer - Option 2 : L = T - V

In classical physics, the difference between the kinetic energy and potential energy of a body is called it's Lagrangian. It is denoted by the letter "L".

L = T – V

If T and V represent the kinetic and potential energies of a body respectively the Hamiltonian is given by T + V.
