Correct Answer - Option 1 : 1

Given:

Concept used:

Ratio and proportion

Calculation:

Let the number added be x

According to the question

⇒ \(\frac{{3\ +\ x}}{{5\ +\ x}} = \frac{4}{6}\)

⇒ 18 + 6x = 20 + 4x

⇒ 2x = 2

⇒ x = 1

So, One should be added.
