Correct option  (D) Bromine is less than chlorine.

Explanation: 

Electron affinity increases across a period from left to right due to decrease in atomic size. Thus,electron affinity of C is less than O and electron affinity of O is less than that of F. 

Electron affinity decreases down a group due to increase in atomic size. Thus, electron affinity of I is less than Br and that of Br is less than Cl.
