Concept:

From the Root locus we knows

1) Root locus starts from pole where gain of system (k) is zero (K = 0)

2) Root locus ends either at zero or at infinity when gain of system is infinity (k = ∞)

Conclusion:

When gain of system become zero ⇒ roots of system in the s-phase coincide with the pole.
