Correct Answer - Option 2 : 300000

GIVEN:

people speaking Hindi = 47%

people speaking English = 32%

people speaking Punjabi = 63000

CALCULATION:

% of people speaking Punjabi = 100 - (47 + 32) = 21%

∴ 21% = 63000

⇒ 100% = 63000/21 × 100 = 300000

∴ population of town is 300000
