Correct Answer - Option 2 : 50 cm

Given:

Longer diagonal = 24 cm

Shorter diagonal = 7 cm

Formula Used:

4a2 = d12 + d22

where, a → Side of rhombus, d1, d2 → Diagonals of rhombus

Perimeter od rhombus = 4 × Side

Calculations:

Let the side of rhhombus be x cm.

Longer diagonal = 24 cm

Shorter diagonal = 7 cm

 4a2 = d12 + d22

⇒ 4x2 = (7)2 + (24)2

⇒ 4x2 = 49 + 576

⇒ 4x2 = 625

⇒ x = 25/2 = 12.5 cm

Perimeter of rhombus = 4 × Side

⇒ Perimeter of rhombus = 4 × 12.5 cm

⇒ Perimeter of rhombus = 50 cm

∴ The perimeter of rhombus is 50 cm.
