Correct Answer - Option 2 : 680

The logic follows here is :-

The angle between the hour and the minute hand when clock shows 8:56 PM can be calculated using the following formula.

Angle = \([{11 \over 2}M - 30H]\)

Where M = Minutes and H = Hours

Here M = 56 and H = 8

Therefore, angle = \({11\over 2} \) × 56 - 30 × 8 = 308 - 240 = 68

Hence 680 is the angle between hour and minute hand when clock shows 8:56.

Thus, the correct answer is 680.
