Best answer
Correct Answer - Option 1 : proportional to density of fluid

Hydraulic power:

It is expressed as,

Ph = Q × H × ρ × g

Where Q is the flow in m3/s

H is the total head in m

ρ is the density of the fluid in kg/m3

g is the acceleration due to gravity in m/s2

Therefore, the hydraulic power is proportional to density of fluid.

Important Points:

Pump shaft power:

Ps = Hydraulic power, Ph/ pump efficiency, η

Electrical input power:

Pump shaft power Ps / ηmotor
