Correct Answer - Option 2 : Guru Nanak and Guru Gobind Singh

On 3rd September 1708, Guru Gobind Singh administered the vows of Sikhism to a Hindu ascetic named Madho Das and renamed him as Banda Singh. Guru Gobind Singh directed Banda Singh to avenge the tyranny of the Mughal Empire of the time. Baba Banda Singh’s forces defeated the army of Nawab Wazir Khan in the Battle of Sirhind in the year 1710. After the conquest of Sirhind, a new calendar was declared by the Sikhs starting with Samvat Year I (14th May 1710 – 13th May 1711).To commemorate the victory at Sirhind, a one rupee silver coin was issued by Baba Banda Singh in 1711 (Samvat Year II) and a second one rupee silver coin was issued in the year 1712 (Samvat Year III). These coins bore the name of Guru Nanak and Guru Gobind Singh.

The correct answer is Option 2.
