Correct Answer - Option 3 : 66.66%

Given :

A's income is 40% less than that of B

Formula used :

[(difference in income)/(income of person)] × 100

Solution :

Let B's income be Rs. x

∵ A's income which is 40% less than that of B

⇒ A's income = Rs. (1 - 0.40)x

⇒ A's income = Rs. 0.6x

Now, B's income more than A's income = x - 0.6x = 0.4x

Percent more of B's income more than A's income = (difference/A's income) × 100

⇒ Percent more of B's income more than A's income = (0.4x/0.6x) × 100

⇒ Percent more of B's income more than A's income = (4/6) × 100

∴ Percent more of B's income more than A's income = 66.66%
