GIVEN:

Diagonals of the Rhombus are 40 cm and 30 cm

FORMULA USED:

  (d₁/2)² + (d₂/2)² = (Side)²

CALCULATION:

(d1/2)2 + (d2/2)2 = (Side)2

⇒ (30/2)²  + (20/2)² = (side)²

⇒ (Side)² = 225 + 400

⇒ Side of Rhombus = 25 cm

∴ Perimeter of Rhombus = 4 × 25 = 100 cm
