Correct Answer - Option 2 : 11

Concept:

An ‘n’ bit address can access a total of 2memory locations.

Calculation:

RAM - 256 B

ROM - 1024 B i.e. 1kB

1 kB of RAM and 1 kB of ROM total 2kB

∴ 2n = 2 kB = 211

n = 11 (bits are required)
