The pattern of the original number series is

⇒ 64 + (13 +  12) = 66

⇒  66 + (23 +  22) = 78

⇒  78 + (33 +  32) = 114

⇒ 114 + (43 +  42) = 194

⇒ 194 + (53 +  52) = 344

According the pattern of the above series the number series starting from the given number 85
would be as:
⇒ A = 2 + (1³ + 1²⁾ = 4

⇒B = 4 + (23 +  22) = 16

⇒ C = 16 + (33 +  32) = 52

⇒D =  52 + (43 +  42) = 132

⇒E = 132 + (53 +  52) = 282

∴ In the place of B would be 16
