Correct Answer - Option 4 : 1356

Given:

Successive integers from 8 to 16

Formula Used:

Sum of square of n natural number = n(n + 1)(2n + 1)/6

Calculation:

Sum of square of 16 natural numbers = 16 (16 + 1)(2 × 16 + 1)/6

⇒ 16 (16 + 1)(2 × 16 + 1)/6 = 1496

Sum of square of 7 natural numbers = 7 (7 + 1)(2 × 7 + 1)/6

⇒ 7 (7 + 1)(2 × 7 + 1)/6 = 140

∴ Sum of square of 8 natural numbers = 1496 - 140 = 1356.
