Correct Answer - Option 3 : Statement (I) is true, but Statement (II) is false

Soft Skills:

  • Soft skills are those which require interpersonal adaptability among different kinds of people, problems, and situations.
  • For example, leadership and communication are interpersonal skills that successful engineers employ on a regular basis.
  • Soft skills are subtle behaviors and communication styles that help make a work environment or interaction with another person easier to manage.
  • Soft skills are not concerned with the knowledge of the concerned subjects or software for that matter. (Statement 2 is false)

Hard Skills:

  • Hare the technical skills we use each day to perform our job.
  • Some examples would be our computer skills or procedural knowledge we apply in our job.
  • Hence to compete in today’s competitive scenario, knowledge of both the skills is expected of an engineer. (Statement 1 is true)
