Best answer
Correct Answer - Option 4 : 8 π

Concept:

Power transmitted by the shaft,

\(P = T.\omega = \frac{{2\pi NT}}{{60}}\;watts\)

where, ω = angular speed radians/sec, T = external torque applied N-m, N = number of revolutions per minute

Calculations:

Given:

Number of revolution per minute N = 160 rpm, Torque T = 1500 Nm

\(P = 2\pi \times 160 \times \frac{{1500}}{{60}}\;watss = 8\pi \;kW\)
