As per IS 3102 – 1965, for F1 class bricks, the percentage water absorption after 24 hour of immersion in cold water shall not exceed

Correct Answer - Option 1 : 20%

The IS code 3102-1965 has been superseded by IS 1077-1992 and it is no longer available.

As per IS 1077-1992, bricks are classified as per their compressive strengths as follow

As per IS 1077-1992, Cl 7.2, water absorption value after 24 hour of immersion in cold water shall not be more than 20% up to class 12.5 and 15 % by weight for higher classes.
