Correct Answer - Option 1 : 2.5 kHz

Concept:

Conversion Rate / Sampling frequency is mathematically given by:

\(= \frac{1}{{Conversion\;time}}\)

The maximum input frequency is:

\( = \frac{{{f_s}}}{2}\)

\(= \frac{1}{{2\;conversion\;time}}\)

Calculation:

Given, Conversion time = 200 μsec

Maximum input frequency will be:

\(= \frac{1}{{2 \times 200 \times {{10}^{ - 6}}}}\)

\( = \frac{{{{10}^4}}}{4}\)

\( = \frac{{10}}{4}KHz\)

= 2.5 kHz
