Correct Answer - Option 1 : ASCII
  • ASCII stands for American Standard Code for Information Interchange which is an encoding system for interchanging information among different computers
  • EBCDIC stands for Extended Binary Coded Decimal Interchange Code which is an eight-bit character encoding used mainly on IBM mainframe and IBM midrange computer operating systems
  • BCD (Binary-Coded Decimal),  BCD Interchange Code or BCDIC is a family of representations of numerals, uppercase Latin letters, and some special and control characters as six-bit character codes. Unlike later encodings such as ASCII, BCD codes were not standardized.
  • Therefore, the computer code for the interchange of information between terminals is ASCII.
