Best answer
Correct Answer - Option 2 : 25%

Calculation:

Percentage increase or decrease in price/consumption of any item is given by

(Difference in price/consumption of item)/ (original price/consumption of item) × 100

Now,

Consumption of sugar in the beginning = 12 kg

Consumption of sugar after increment = 15 kg

Consumption of sugar increased by

⇒ [(15 – 12)/12] × 100 = 25%
