Correct Answer - Option 1 : 129 : 217

Calculation:

Let the age of B 5 years hence be 3x years

Let the age of C 5years hence be 4x years

According to the question,

4x = 48 years

x = 12

3x = 36 years

Present age of B = 36 – 5 = 31 years

Ratio of present ages of A and B = 7 : 3

3 units = 31 years

1 units = 31/3

7 units = 217/3

Present age of C = 48 – 5 = 43 years

Required ratio of present ages of C and A = 43 : 217/3 = 129 : 217
