The statement that says the temperature difference between the two helps zebras to maintain their body temperature and enables them to keep themselves safe from outside environment seems to be the best possible answer. With the difference in temperature small amount of air, convection is held which keeps them cool. That statement that talks about that black and white stripes protect zebras from enemies is not correct with respect to the question and the passage being talked about. All other options are irrelevant.
