Correct Answer - Option 4 : 3

Given that,

x(t) and y(t) have same fundamental period of 3 seconds.

z(t) = x(-t) + y(2t + 1)

Time period of x(t) = 3

Time period of x(-t) = 3

Time period of y(t) = 3

Time period of \(y\left( {2t + 1} \right) = \frac{3}{2} = 1.5\)

Time period of z(t) = LCM of (3, 1.5) = 3
