Read the given passage/argument and answer the question that follow it.

Govt of India has reconfirmed their plans to go full ballistic for electric cars. An announcement which will make Elon Musk and patrons of electric vehicles super happy, India plans to allow the sale of only electric cars by 2030, which is just 12 years away. This means that petrol/diesel cars won’t be allowed on the road after 2030. This is a massive, powerful endorsement of electric, green technology, and can change transportation industry forever. 

Which of the following argument can be made from above passage?


1. With the increasing demand of oil, it is difficult to meet the needs.
2. Electric cars will be introduced as prices of petrol and diesel are increasing.

Correct Answer - Option 3 : Indian government is planning to phase out diesel/petrol cars with electric cars by year 2030.

Government of India plans to remove diesel/petrol cars and allow only electric cars on roads by 2030. Only this argument can be clearly stated from the passage and hence option 3 is correct.
