B= 150 days

Δ = 130cm = 1.3 m

\(\begin{array}{l} {\rm{D}} = \frac{{{\rm{B}} ~\times~ 8.64}}{{\rm{\Delta }}}\\ = \frac{{150~ \times~ 8.64}}{{1.3}} = 996.92\;ha/cumecs \end{array}\)

Area irrigated = 2500 ha

∴ Design Discharge

\(= \frac{{2500}}{{996.923}} = 2.507\;cumecs\)

For, wheat

B= 120 days

Δ = 50 cm

\(D = \frac{{8.64 \times 120}}{{0.5}} = 2073.6\;ha/cumecs\)

Area irrigated = Duty × Design Discharge (Q)

= 2073.6 × 2.507 = 5198.5 ha.
