  • Uttar Pradesh shares borders with nine different states.
  • These are –
    • Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh in the northwest
    • Delhi, Haryana, and Rajasthan in the west
    • Madhya Pradesh in the south
    • Chhattisgarh in the southeast
    • Bihar, and Jharkhand in the east.
  • Please note that UP also shares an international border with Nepal.
