Correct Answer - Option 1 : 4 V

Concept:

The transformation ratio in a transformer is

\(K = \frac{{{N_2}}}{{{N_1}}} = \frac{{{V_2}}}{{{V_1}}} = \frac{{{I_1}}}{{{I_2}}}\)

N2 = Secondary turns

N1 = Primary turns

V1 = Primary voltage

V2 = Secondary voltage

I1 = Primary current

I2 = Secondary current

Calculation:

Given

I2 = Secondary current = 48 A

I1 = Primary current = 12 A

V1 = Primary voltage = 16 V

\(\frac{{{V_2}}}{{{V_1}}} = \frac{{{I_1}}}{{{I_2}}} \Rightarrow \frac{V_2}{16}=\frac{12}{48}\Rightarrow V_2=4 \;V\)

The Secondary voltage is 4 V
