Correct Answer - Option 4 : Methodology is used repeatedly

Constructivism is centered on the idea that human knowledge and learning are actively constructed by the learner, not passively received from the environment. Knowledge is always someone's knowledge.

  • Knowledge is constructed by children using several techniques of learning that can be activity, observation, project, etc.
  • In the process of constructivism, learning is an active process and teacher uses different techniques and methods to assess the level of learning.
  • The children are allowed to construct their own knowledge which means they have to use self-help to work to build their conceptual understanding.
  • Also, it means that to work, help is not available from the learned person. Because students have to work from their understanding and experiences in order to gain new knowledge and skills.
  • It also makes work easy. When they learn something on their own, the acquired knowledge is stored in the long-term memory and can be retained whenever needed, which makes their work or learning easy.
  • In constructivism, the methodology is not used repeatedly. As the teacher encourages the students to think of different or alternate ways to learn a concept as he wants to develop divergent thinking among the students.

Therefore, it is clear that the methodology is used repeatedly is not a part of the constructivism method of learning.
