Correct Answer - Option 2 : Select column H and right click and select insert for three times

The correct answer is option 2.

 In Excel 2016, If you want to insert three columns between columns G and H you would select column H and right-click and select insert three times.

To insert columns: 

  • Select the column heading to the right of where you want the new column to appear. For example, if you want to insert a column between columns G and H, select column H  and right-click and select insert three times.
  • Click the Insert command on the Home tab. Clicking the Insert command.
  • The new column will appear to the left of the selected column.

Hence the correct answer is select column H and right click and select insert for three times.
