Calculation:

Total number of students = 60

Also, Boys : Girls = 1 : 2

Let the number of boys be x. Then, the number of girls will be 2x.

⇒ x + 2x = 60

⇒ 3x = 60

⇒ x = 20

∴ Boys = 20 and Girls = 40

Since Rohit's rank is 17th from the top.

Therefore, there are 16 students ahead of him.

So, the minimum number of boys that could come after Rohit would be 20 - 17 = 3. 

Hence, the minimum number of boys after Rohit would be 3.
