Correct Answer - Option 1 : This is 337.5% of the volume of the original box.

Concept Used:

Volume of Cuboid = L × B × H

Calculation:

Let the dimensions of the boxes be L, B and H respectively

Original Volume = LBH

New dimension after increasing the dimensions by half of the original size = (1.5L × 1.5B × 1.5H)

New volume = 3.375LBH

Required percentage = (3.375LBH/LBH) × 100%

⇒ 337.5%

∴ Required percentage is 337.5%
