Correct Answer - Option 3 : 20

Given:

The sides of the cuboid = 5 cm, 2 cm, 5 cm

Concept:

HCF = The product of the smallest power of each common prime factor in the number

LCM = Product of greatest power of each prime factor involved in the numbers

When a solid is reshape then the volume of the solid will remain the same

Formula used:

Volume of the cuboid = L × B × H   (Where, L = Length, B = Breadth, and H = Height)

The volume of the cube = a3                 (Where a = The side of the cube)

Calculation:

⇒ The volume of the cuboid = 5 × 2 × 5 = 50 cm3

⇒ The side of the cube = LCM of (5, 2, 5) = 10

⇒ The volume of the cube = 103 = 1000 cm3

⇒ The total number of cuboid required to formed a cube = 1000/50 = 20

∴ The required result will be 20.
