Correct Answer - Option 3 : 49140

Given:

Population of the village 3 years back = 50000

Growth rate of population in last 3 years = 5%, - 10%, 4% respectively

Calculation:

According to the question:

The present population of the village(P) = 50000 × \(\dfrac{105}{100} × \dfrac{90}{100} × \dfrac{104}{100}\)

⇒ P = 50000 × \(\dfrac{21}{20} × \dfrac{9}{10} × \dfrac{26}{25}\)

⇒ P = 49140

∴ The present population of the village = 49140
