Correct Answer - Option 3 : Rs. 960

Given:

30% of A's salary = 20% of 3/5th of B's salary

B's salary = Rs.2400

Calculation:

As per the question:

30/100 × A = 20/100 × 3/5 × B

⇒ 30A = 12B

⇒ A/B = 12/30

⇒ A/B = 2/5

Let the salary of A and B be 2a and 5a respectively.

So, B's salary = Rs.2400

⇒ 5a = Rs.2400

⇒ a = Rs.480

∴ A's salary = 2a = 2 × Rs.480

⇒ Rs.960
