Correct Answer - Option 4 : Only concept I is implicit

As per the statement:

When everyone is vaccinated against COVID-19, the pandemic will end and we will be able to go to public places without wearing masks.

It means that If the pandemic is over then only we will be able to go to public places without wearing masks.

The pandemic will be over only if everyone is vaccinated.

Concept:

I. Until the COVID-19 pandemic is over, we should wear masks in public places.

True. We can't stop wearing masks in public places until the pandemic is over.

II. Once a person has been vaccinated against COVID-19, he can be in public places without wearing a mask.

False. As for going in public places without wearing masks, it is essential that everyone is vaccinated because vaccination of one person will not stop the pandemic.

Therefore, the correct answer is "Only concept I is implicit".

If definitive words like all, always, at least, only, exactly, and so on are used, then such words make the conclusion invalid.

  • If there are two or more sentences that are used to frame a statement, then, the sentences must be interrelated, and mutual contradiction should be there.
  • Do not look for truthful notions. The information provided in the statement is the only requirement for a student to answer the question. No assumptions must be made.
  • Read the statement carefully and look for keywords that are common between the statement and the conclusions.
  • If there is more than one conclusion that is applicable to the statement, students must ensure that the conclusions they opt for have some relation with each other.
