Correct Answer - Option 3 : henry

The correct answer is henry.

  • Self-inductance is the phenomenon by which an opposing induced e.m.f. is produced in a coil due to a change in the magnetic flux or currently associated with the coil.

    We know,

    \( e=L \frac{dI}{dt} \)

(No negative sign as taking the only magnitude into consideration)

    where,

  • e is the induced e.m.f.
  • dI/dt is the rate of change of current in the coil at that instant
  • L is the self-inductance

\(or, \; L=\frac{e}{dI/dt}=\frac{volt}{ampere\; second^{-1}}=V- sec/A^{}=Henry (H)\)

Physical quantity SI unit
Luminous intensity candela
