Correct Answer - Option 1 : 170°

Given:

sin A = 0.5     [45° < A < 540°]

Calculation:

Sin A = 0.5

⇒ Sin A = 5/10

⇒ Sin A = 1/2

⇒ Sin A = sin(180°- 30°)

⇒ sin A = sin 150°

[If sin A = 150, then A/3 = 50, which is not possible here]

⇒ sin A = sin (360°+ 150°)

⇒ sin A = sin 510°

⇒ A = 510°

∴ A/3 = 510°/3 = 170°
