Correct Answer - Option 1 : 60

Given:

Area of rectangle is 96 square meter more than the area of triangle

Length of Rectangle = 18 m

Height of Triangle = 20 m

Base of Triangle = Breadth of rectangle

Formula used:

Area of Rectangle = Length × Breadth

Area of Triangle = 1/2 × Base × Height

Calculation:

According to question

Length × Breadth = 1/2 × Base × Height + 96

⇒ 18 × B = 1/2 × B × 20 + 96

⇒ 18B = 10B + 96

⇒ 8B = 96

⇒ B = 12

Now, Perimeter of rectangle = 2(18 + 12)

⇒ 2 × 30 = 60 m

∴ Perimeter of rectangle is 60
