Correct Answer - Option 3 : 55 ∶ 34

Given:

Mohan : Sohan = 7 : 4

Mohan + Sohan = 77 years

Calculation:

Let Mohan's age and Sohan's age be M and S years respectively.

⇒ M = 7S/4

⇒ M + S - 77

⇒ 7S/4 + S = 77

⇒ S = 28

⇒ M = 77 - 28 = 49

Mohan's age after 6 years = 49 + 6 = 55 years

Sohan's age after 6 years = 28 + 6 = 34 years

∴ the ratio of their ages after 6 years = 55 : 34
