  • The integration of Rajasthan was completed on 1 November 1956 AD. It took 8 years 7 months 15 days for the integration of Rajasthan.
    • Chief Minister at this time was Mohanlal Sukhadia.
    • The post of Rajpramukh was abolished by the Seventh Constitutional Amendment 1956 and Sardar Gurmukh Nihal Singh was made the first Governor of Rajasthan.

 

  • By 1956, the system of voluntary associations of states was abolished and the position of Rajpramukh was abolished.
