Correct Answer - Option 4 : Rs. 10,000

Given:

Rita spends on house rent = 25%

On remaining income on food = 30%

Saving = Rs. 5250

Calculation:

Let the monthly salary of Rita be 100x

Amount spend on house rent = 25x

Remaining amount spend on food = 30% of 75x

⇒ 22.5x

Now, according to question

⇒ 100x – (25x + 22.5x) = 5250

⇒ 100x – 47.5x = 5250

⇒ 52.5x = 5250

⇒ x = 100

Her monthly income = Rs. (100 × 100)

⇒ Rs. 10000

∴ Her monthly income is 10000
