Formula used:

Average = Sum of all observation/Total number of observation

Calculation:

Average = (35 + 30 +  25 + 15 + 20 + 47 + 30 +  40 + 45 + 50 + 40 + 43)/12 = 420/12 = 35

Here marks 47, 40, 45, 50, 40, 43 are more than 35

Required answer = Six
