Given:

Time taken to cover a certain distance by a bike man = 45 hrs

Reduced speed = 1 - (3/5) of the actual speed

Reduced distance = 54 km

Concept:

Speed = distance/time

Calculation:

Let, speed of that bike man = x km/hr

According to the question,

⇒ 45x - (45 × 2/5)x = 54

⇒ 45x - 18x = 54

⇒ 27x = 54

⇒ x = 2

∴ Speed of the bike man is 2 km/hr
