Correct Answer - Option 5 :  x = y or relationship between x and y cannot be established.

I. x2 - 29x + 100 = 0

⇒ x2 - 25x - 4x + 100 = 0

⇒ x (x - 25) - 4 (x - 25) = 0

⇒ (x - 25) (x - 4) = 0

⇒ x = 25, 4

II. y2 - 52y + 100 = 0

⇒ y2 - 50y - 2y + 100 = 0

⇒ y (y - 50) - 2(y - 50) = 0

⇒ (y - 50) (y - 2) = 0

⇒ y = 50, 2
