  • This state-of-the-art ship has been designed and manufactured indigenously by Goa Shipyard Limited and is equipped with advanced technology, navigation and communication equipment, sensors and machinery.
  • The ship is designed to carry a twin-engined helicopter and four high-speed boats, including two inflatable boats for boarding operations, search and rescue, law enforcement and maritime patrol.
  • The ship is also capable of carrying pollution response equipment to prevent oil spills at sea.
  • The ship displaces approximately 2350 tonnes (GRT) and is powered by two 9100 kW diesel locomotives to achieve a maximum speed of 24 knots.
